What will you learn?
A Paramedic is an allied health professional who is integral
for the provision pre-hospital care for critical patients. A Paramedic’s primary focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care which is part of a comprehensive emergency response to various medical emergencies, scene of accidents and natural disasters. Paramedics are regarded as a link from the scene into the health care system. Naturally, Paramedics are expected to be highly competent and skilled. Theprogramme at CUCMS equips students with the necessary skills and experience to take up real world challenges immediately upon graduation.
Eligibility
All applicants must have passed and attained a minimum of the following:
Examinations Requirement Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) Pass English and Bahasa Malaysia with a minimum of 5 credits in the following subjects;
Mathematics
1 (one) Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, Science, Applied Science)
Any other 3 (three) subjects (including English and/or Bahasa Malaysia); or
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) – O Levels Pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with a minimum of Grade C in the following 5 subjects;
Mathematics
1 Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, Science, Applied Science)
Any other 3 (three) subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English); or
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) Pass with a minimum of Grade B in English, Mathematics and 1 Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, Science, Applied Science) Certificate in Health Sciences Minimum CGPA of 2.75 Other qualifications deemed equivalent by the Government of Malaysia
