They can pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, also known as a D.V.M., and/or a doctorate in veterinary medicine, also known as a Ph.D. Most students pursue aPh.D. in veterinary science after completing their D.V.M. degrees, but a few programs allow students to pursue thedoctorate independent from the D.V.M.

Eligibility

  • Candidate must have a Master degree with thesis in an appropriate field
  • Acceptance into the programme is subject to approval by School of Graduates and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM

For direct admission, an international candidate must pass the following tests with stated minimum passing marks:

i) TOEFL Written test (Academic version): 550 points
ii) IELTS (Academic Exercise): Band 6.0
iii) TOEFL Internet test (Academic version): 79-80
iv) TOEFL Computer test (Academic version): 213
vi) CIEP: Level 109
