What will you learn?
The Bachelor of Education (Agricultural Science) programme has started since 1979. This program is offered to those who have completed Matriculation or Foundation studies, and Diploma and Higher Education Certificate (STPM) holders or those who have equivalent academic qualifications to pursue their studies at the first degree level. The programme was renamed in 2017 to the Bachelor of Education in Agricultural Science with a total of 131 minimum credits for graduation including 2 credits of extra-curricular course § The duration of study is 4 years (8 semesters) § Graduates from this programme have a wide career path either in the public or private sectors. Graduates are able to further studies either locally or internationally. The career opportunities are focused in the fields of teaching and training
Eligibility
1. IELTS - 1. Minimum overall score of 6.0 for TESL/English or 5.5 for other programmes; or
2. 2. TOEFL - Minimum overall score of 550 for TESL/English or 500 for other programmes; or
3. Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) - Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) - enrolled at ELS-UPM - Level 109 English or Level 107 for other
Entry Requirement
Applicant who is interested in pursuing his/ her studied at UPM must fulfil the following: To have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level or th equivalent of 12 years of basic education) with the grade 80% and above. or A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00
Core areas of emphasis
UPM includes courses in agriculture, food and natural resource disciplines including agricultural economics, agricultural systems management, animal science, food science, horticulture, plant science and natural resources.
