Eligibility

Foundation in Arts/ Science/ Equivalent

• Minimum CGPA 2.50

 

STPM

• (Arts/Science stream)
  
   Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.00 (or equivalent)
   Minimum Grade C for 3 subjects

 

A-Levels
Minimum Grade E for 2 subjects

 

UEC (Commerce/Science stream)

• 5 Credits (‘B’ grade) inclusive of Maths

 

SAM

• Minimum average of 60% in 5 subjects

 

CPU

• Minimum average of 65% in 6 subjects

 

International Baccalaureate

• Minimum 26/42 points from 6 subjects

 

Local Matriculation

• Minimum CGPA 2.50

 

Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ Degree/ equivalent

• Minimum CGPA 2.00
  Subject to School discretion and credit transfer after reviewing transcript, syllabus description & portfolio.
  Max. 30% credits transfer as per MOHE ruling

 

 

Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency

• Minimum average of 65%

English Requirement:

• A distinction (A+, A or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM or minimum A2 in UEC level or Band 5.0 in IELTS or 410 in TOEFL PBT or 34 in TOEFL IBT or 160 IN CAE or 180 IN CPE or 36 in PTE or MUET Band 3.
• In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, student may be required to undertake additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate programme, based on the University's decision.

International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but which are not conducted in English, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the English Enrichment programme (1 to 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfil the above English requirements prior to commencing their studies at the University.
