As the Fourth Industrial Revolution brings forth unprecedented technological disruptions that are reinventing the rules and changing the way businesses are conducted, enterprises, be it startups or multinationals, need to keep pace and change or risk being wiped out.
If you are keen to venture into business, management, information technology (IT) or actuarial science, our Foundation in Arts program, will give you a strong foundation to start with; a strong grounding in mathematics, basic computing and statistics with additional subjects specializing in the respective three disciplines.
In addition to acquiring relevant subject knowledge, you will also be supported and mentored by our distinguished professors throughout your studies so that you can develop the right critical and creative thinking and study skills to ensure a smooth academic and cultural transition when you move to your degree level study in management, actuarial science or information technology.

SPM / O-levels

- Overall average score of 50%
English Requirement:
- A distinction (A+, A or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level; or MUET Band 5; or a score of 196 (computer-based) / 525 (writing-based) / 69-70 (internet-based) in TOEFL; or Band 4.0 in IELTS.
- In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, student may be required to undertake additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate program, based on the University’s decision.
International students holding equivalent academic qualifications, but which are not conducted in English, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the Certificate in English program (1 to 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate program directly, are advised to fulfil the above English requirements prior to commencing their studies at the University.
