This programme is intended for people who require not only an expertise in the area of computer science and internet applications but also significant technical knowledge in the area of networking.
Not only does this programme seek to provide students with specialised networking knowledge and programming skills, it also aims to address those key areas where there are widely acknowledged skills gap in what businesses are seeking.
In short, MSc in Computer Networking is intended to provide an in-depth understanding of the current and future emerging technologies in computer networking and to underpin the design, analysis and implementation of networks that suit a variety of businesses.
Eligibility
Academic Requirement for admission in University Malaysia
Diploma & Bachelor Programs
- Candidates in High school, secondary or A-level must hold min. CGPA of 2 out of 4 or must be passed.
- For studying engineering pass marks in Math, Chemistry and physics in high school.
Master Programs
- Bachelor's degree with min. CGPA of 2.75 out of 4 or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
- Any Bachelor's degree with CGPA of 2 to 2.5 out of 4 in a relevant field can be accepted subject to a minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field.
PhD programs
- A Master's degree with min. CGPA of 2.75 out of 4 or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
- Any Master's degree with minimum CGPA of 2 to 2.5 out of 4 in a relevant field can be accepted subject to a minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field.
English language requirement for admission in University Malaysia: It is mandatory for every international student to take English tests like TOFEL (Test of English as a Foreign Language or IELTS (International English language Testing System) with the minimum required score for respective programs.

Course Details:
Duration: 3 Semester Intakes: February, April, September
Scholarships for Post-graduate studies:
Offering 50% scholarships on foundation programs for all nationalities, and 30% scholarship on all bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. Programs.
50% scholarship is offered for Iranian students for our foundation, Bachelor and Master programs.
