What will you learn?

• The UM Master of Architecture is a leading Part II programme in Malaysia which aims to produce excellent Graduate Architects who are innovative, confident and intelligent. Besides delving into architectural design projects, students are also able to pursue their interests in highly specialised elective courses; AND

• Our programme is one out of only two programmes that are accredited by LAM and validated by RIBA in Malaysia.

Eligibility

• National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level equivalent) with the grade 80% and above

Or

• A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00.

• Applicant may be required to undergo an interview session for certain selection program before being accepted by the respective faculty.

 Students are required to enrol in the Malay Language Program prior to being conferred a degree.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Students must obtain:

• TOEFL score of 500 (PBT), 173 (CBT) or 60 (IBT) and above

Or

• IELTS Band 5.0 - 6.5 and above

Or

• Pass in any equivalent English proficiency test approved and recognized by the University of Malaya.

This qualifications will enable them to work as Graduate Architects at government agencies or private companies, building contractors or develops, interior or landscape designers, university lecturers (with PhD) or Professional Architects (with LAM/RIBA Part III qualification).
