What will you learn?
Our doctoral program is offered through the Centre for the Study of Communications and Culture, providing high quality training to postgraduate students. In-house and collaborative seminars held in co-operation with The University of Nottingham’s campuses in Ningbo and the UK, and visits to the center by eminent scholars, policy-makers and industry representatives ensure that postgraduates interact in a stimulating and supportive environment.
The Centre invites applications from potential doctoral students, and as a first step, you should acquaint yourself with the expertise of our staff as outlined in this brochure and in more detail on our web site. This should give some indication of whether or not the topic you intend to propose falls within the range of interests and capacities of the central. Please contact potential supervisors for further information or to discuss specific project topics.
Eligibility
IELTS: 7.0 (no less than 6.0 in each element)
TOEFL (IBT): 100 (minimum 20 in speaking and 19 in all other elements)
PTE (Academic): 67 (with no less than 55 in each element)
MUET: Band 5
