A lot of times it happens that we walk into a pharmacy and pick up medicines over the counter for common ailments like cough and cold, fever and aches and pains. We often confide on these pharmacists a lot to know that they will hand over the right medication to us. Pharmacists are able to advise on the right medication only because they have the right degree in Pharmacy.

Introduction

So, if you want to know all about medicines and how each medicine reacts with our bodies and want to pursue a career in healthcare, a degree in Pharmacy is what you need.

What is Pharmacy

The science which deals with the technique of preparing and dispensing medication is Pharmacy. People who specialise in the study of Pharmacy usually go on to become pharmacists or researchers in pharmacy companies.

The study of Pharmacy combines biology and chemistry which tells us if the medication and drugs we consume are  effective and safe for us.

Although it might not seem so, but whenever you pop a pill, always remember that its drug composition and manufacturing was carefully monitored by a qualified pharmacist.
