Note: All applicants (except for Chinese Studies) must have one of the above English Language qualifications or any other English Language qualification as approved by Senate.
Also, if by any chance you don't have the above requirements in English, you can apply for UTAR University Malaysia English placement test when you reach in Malaysia. If you pass the placement test, you will meet the minimum required qualification for English programs and begin your course at University UTAR Malaysia. If you are unable to make through the test then you will be required to study a compulsory English course at UTAR Malaysia.

Essential Documents Requisite
The list of documents for the purpose of admission to UTAR University, are provided on here.
Students who are studying at UTAR University can choose from the options offered by DSA for accommodation. The Department of Student Affairs (DSA) helps the students in getting accommodation in a way as follows:
DSA Accommodation List: DSA has assembled a list of obtainable accommodation within the local area of the campuses, for example, around Bandar Sungai Long and Kampar, Perak.
The accommodation offered by them includes single-storey or double-storey residences, flats, apartments and also condominiums.
Estate Agents: DSA also offers a list of Real Estate Agents, who will assist you get your choice of stay.

3. Dispatch of accommodation application form upon intimation via email
4. Submission of accommodation application form, duly filled up along with flight ticket and deposit fee
5. Processing of Accommodation as per specifications
NOTE – Accommodation will be processed only for those students who are in possession on a valid visa and a duly filled in admission application form.
Other facilities for students welfare
There are some beneficial facilities and services
available at UTAR like the sports and
recreational facilities, student clubs and societies, guidance services, bus services, counselling and student support services. There is also an induction programme that covers campus adjustment talks, a campus tour tofamiliarise you with the campus and its
surroundings.
Sports like icebreaking, telematch and sports games can be attractive opportunity.
TheY offer soft skills development programmes and community service activities.

UTAR Scholarships are for Foundation Programmes and Bachelor Honours Degree Programmes. They offer scholarships to prospective students who have succeeded excellent academic results.
